WHAT WE OFFER

Our Food Bank is a store of fresh vegetables, fruits, and culturally sensitive and non-perishable food donated by the local community.

We also provide basic hygiene supplies such as shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet rolls and feminine hygiene products. 

HOW TO ACESS OUR HELP Our guests are referred to us from our partner agencies. Southwark Pensioners Centre Southwark Council Schools within Southwark Children’s Centres DWP GP Surgeries Faith Groups Other Advice and support agencies

WHO WE HELP

To use our Food Bank you must be referred to us by one of our partners; schools, GPs, the Citizens Advice Bureau, social services, and other advice and support agencies. We do not accept drop-ins.

HOW YOU CAN ACCESS OUR HELP

To process your referral we need the following information from the person who referred you:

  • Name
  • Contact
  • Address
  • Household information
  • Reason for the referral

After we get this information, we will contact you and invite you to visit our nearest food bank to you.

When you arrive at one of our centres, you will receive a warm welcome, a 7-day parcel of food, a cup of tea/coffee, biscuits and, if needed, free advice and signposting to our Back 2 Work in-house service or other appropriate support services.

Our primary goal is to assist people to work their way out of poverty.
