who we are

I am a proud mother to 4 children, ages 4-14; I have been a secretary for my TRA for 14+ years and also a home baker and decorator. I did my degree in criminology and sociology at Roehampton University. My background is in children’s playschemes, after-school clubs, entertainment and I was a playworker for over 10+ years. I have also worked within homelessness as a project worker to support homeless/vulnerable people across London to find homes, build supportive relationships, and lead fulfilling lives. My goals and aspirations are to go back to work and being a volunteer keeps me mentally active and allows me to give back. Being a Trustee provides me with insight into how Spring Community Hub runs and I am delighted to be part of its mission and all the splendid work it is doing for so many people. I am able to bring my experience organising children's activities, also bring ideas and contacts to help Spring Community Hub’s fundraising. I provide a parent's perspective as a service user and do outreach to make contacts within the local community
